Easy to play. Plaeasant darker sound
I was looking for a step up from my Vandoren Optimum TL3. The Morgan Classic has that beautiful deep warm sound I am looking for. This mouthpiece has a very comfortable feel and fit my Yani neck and played perfectly in tune. I highly recommend it for playing classical in an orchestra or solo setting. The Morgan also comes with a ligature and cap making it an excellent value.
This mouthpiece is everything I've been looking for. I've been playing on it for a little less than a year, but I'm sure it's my forever mouthpiece. Pleasantly dark, with a little bit of edge that I like. It's not just "dark." It's complex. It's centered, but not thin. It gives me a sound that I cannot replicate on any other mouthpiece. While I did not buy the piece from this website, I bought it in an 8* (105) facing, and I adore it. Pair it with a Silver Boston Sax 3 reed on my Yamaha Purple Logo 62, and I get a sound that is uniquely mine. I've had friends try it with their setups and they say they do NOT sound like themselves on it, which I agree with. This mouthpiece is just great. - Gaspar A.

I have a Beuscher 400 tenor sax from the 1940's, and the Classical mouthpiece seemed to "open up" my sound, and reduced "back pressure" vs my old mouthpiece. I'm sold on the 3C for band, and am trying to figure out if a 6C or 7C is the best one for me for jazz. The guidance I got from Dave at Morgan helped me a lot.
